Palm Beach International is South Florida's third-largest commercial airport and one of the United States' busiest origin-and-destination leisure gateways relative to its population base, serving 246 destinations across 56 airlines in the global route graph. PBI's disproportionate network reflects the Palm Beach region's standing as a concentrated wealth corridor — from Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens down through Palm Beach island and Boca Raton — and the corresponding demand for direct service to the Northeast, Midwest, and the Caribbean. American, JetBlue, Delta, Southwest, and United operate daily from PBI, with major seasonal expansions from December through April tracking the snowbird migration. The airport has recorded some of the fastest post-pandemic traffic recovery in the U.S. as year-round remote workers relocated to Palm Beach County, driving a step-change in demand that has filled previously seasonal routes. A single consolidated terminal houses Concourses A, B, and C with 28 gates, and a master-plan expansion under review will add a fourth concourse to match the region's forecast growth.
